TONKOTSU RAMEN KYUSHU 筑豊ラーメン

Chikuhyou 筑豊ラーメン kyushu tonkotsu ramen.
The soup broth for tonkotsu ramen is based upon pork bones, and “tonkotsu” (豚骨 in Japanese) means “pork bones”. The soup broth is prepared by boiling pork bones in water for a significant amount of time, up to eight hours, and the broth is typically cloudy in appearance.
Tonkotsu ramen is boiled for many hours, making it much thicker than either the shio or shoyu base. Tonkotsu, which means “pig bone,” is made by boiling pork meat and bones together, thus creating a thick and hearty broth with a meaty flavor.
