I ran across this interesting slice of Japan right before the Youtube party. My description in the video is a bit confusing perhaps. I say that it is an “old” pushcart, but I meant to say it is an old-*style* pushcart design, but it is actually a MODERN-MADE piece of firefighting equipment! …A 19th century design, made with 21st century materials and technology!
I imagine it was designed to fit down some of the narrow paths in between houses, of which there are many such “streets” in Shinjuku that are not much bigger than a standard American sidewalk!
